Eye's

I read on another thread about puss in the eye. My rottie only has puss in her eyes after she wakes up, then its gone until she wakes up again. Its not alot.....is this common or should I take her to the vet? We all get 'sleep' in our eyes from time to time, I was just wondering if this is the case? Thoughts?

Is it green or yellowish looking? If not, I think it sounds normal to me. As long ast its not excess, like if you have to clean her eyes several times/day.

Its more white than anything, I probably wipe it out 2-3 times day. I think its normal, but since we all love our Rottie babies, its better safe than sorry.

To have to wipe it 2 or 3 times a day sounds like a bit more than I would like.

Have you taken the dog to the vet to check for entropian?

Cyrus has entropian and his eye will run some days but not always.

Our vet (got a 2nd opinion too to be safe) told me no worries, he didn't need surgery. He may some time in the future but from what I understand it is a simple procedure.
