Puss in eye

When I got back from work today I noticed that tyson had quite of bit of puss built up in his eye, he had a little bit a couple days ago but it wasnt really in his eye and I didnt think much of it. But today it seemed like quite a bit more so I thought id ask what it could be before gettin it checked out. He did have cherry eye as a pup and had surgery on that eye, should I wait a day or two too see if it happens again or make an appointment?

I did change his dog food to Nutro a week ago could this have anything to do with it?

Well, he either has a foreign object or one very bad case of conjunctivitis. Either one needs a visit to the doctor and fairly quickly before it does permanent damage to the eye.

I'd go to the vet sooner rather than later . . . especially if he has a history of problems with that eye. I don't think changing his food would have anything to do with it.
