Soft Stoole My puppy (7 Months), eats healthy, acts healthy but doesn't seem to have solid stoole when he goes potty. I am feeding high protein and high fat puppy food (Sciene Diet and Exceed). He eats a lot of rawhid chewy's. Could this be the problem???? On another note, he seems to throw up a lot. Any suggestions any body????

Stoole If rawhide is not good for them is there an alternate chewy? He loves them but I'm afraid this is what is giving him loose bowls and maybe taking away from his appetite. Thank you for responing. I am learning more from this discussion site than I ever did reading books. I guess real life experience is always the best teacher.

What about a kong toy filled with peanut buter & kibble and then frozen? Are you looking for chewy toys to keep him occupied when crated or just 'any time' chewy items? Ben and Baron RARELY get rawhides and when they do it is only for about 30 minutes max (so we can eat in peace!). No bone shapes - just the big fat sticks of rawhide.
