Wild Mushrooms

Does anyone have any good home remedy cures for volunteer mushrooms.

We have had a very wet spring, and we got some heat today. This has caused some mushrooms to erupt in the lawn here at work. When I go home today, I am going to go and check over the yard for mushrooms. We have had a few pop up before in the past.

Eating posion mushrooms is a bad way to die, and I really don't want to loose my S'Dragon because he ate some. I don't know the difference between good and bad mushrooms.
I don't think I'll let him loose in the back yard until I am sure we don't have any 'shrooms and the season passes just to be safe.

Thanks for the link Larry!

I really hope that he won't munch down on any!
I am a little worried because I've seen him eat some really odd stuff. S'Dragon's first reaction to most stuff is put it in the mouth to see if he can eat it.
The warning on that mushroom site is "don't eat little brown mushrooms". The mushrooms that grow in my backyard are little and brown. Hmm.

I didn't see any links on killing them, but it was a good read!

When we have a sprouting crop, I simply pop them in the scoop when I do my yard clean up. They usually jump up during the night so a first thing in the am yard scooping with the toadstools included takes care of them for the day.
