 Torn Paw Pad!?! Anyone know the reason why this happens? Diesel's is torn and very raw looking, he won't allow anyone to touch it, except myself. I've been putting polysporin on it and wrapping it up as often as I can. But I dont know why this happens, he's an indoor dog, only goes out to use the bathroom then comes right back in, I haven't even been walking him much lately because I've been so busy with school being almost over. It's obiviously painful, but is there anything to prevent this from occuring?

| Re: Torn Paw Pad!?! Guerin had a tear on his pad a couple of weeks back and we never did figure out what happened. I think if you check your yard for sharp objects and are mindful of where he walks, there is not much else you can do. Accidents happen. We used bag balm on Guerin's and it is fine now.
