Elbow Hygroma

My 8 month old has elbow hygroma (first one in any of my Rotts). My vet wants to operate on it but that's a bit drastic. It should have been re-absorbed by now. It was drained once already. Any suggestions from past experiences?

Re: Elbow Hygroma

Extensive hot packing might help reduce it. Several times a day for a week or so.
