Roxy is vomitting now

She's been farting all day and has threw up 3 times. I think (hope) the last time she got it all out. It was a lot. Partially digested food. She has gotten a little of Diesel's food the past few days and has been fine until today. She hardly ever gets sick. Not sure if I want to run to the vet, or just see if this passes. She's acting pretty much normal.

Vet??? yes or no? I'm calling them now to see what they say, but they always want me to bring them in.

Re: Roxy is vomitting now

Hmmm...when I am in a situation I am unsure of, I always call the vet. My vet also suggests bringing the dog in...but I would rather be safe than sorry. So many things can cause vomitting that I would be worried. Perhaps someone else has better insight....

I agree, better safe than sorry. You'd never forgive yourself if it ended up being something serious and you didn't take her. Let us know how things go - thinking good thoughts for Roxy!

Re: Roxy is vomitting now

Me too. Better go to the vet. She can get dehydrated easily. If it was only one vomit incident, I'd wait, of course. But this is three. Things inside can get twisted sometimes. You need to know.

He may just want you not to feed her for 24h...fluids only...then start a half and half mixture of boiled rice and boiled hamburger. But best to hear it from him that she's OK, first.

Re: Roxy is vomitting now

All is well again in the household! Feeding her a bland diet right now and she seems to be doing better.
