Research paper..help needed

Hi there. For one of my classes, I have to do a research paper. I can pick any topic that I would like, so being that I'm going into the Vet Tech program, I would like to do something that has to do with my major. So, I was thinking something along the lines of "The Importance of Spaying and Nutering".

Here is where I need your help. I have to site some internet info and have no clue as to where to start. When I do a search engine, I come up with a bunch of "man made" websites, and they are not bad, I just need info to back all of the info up. I would like to pull in from somewhere about the possible increase in cancer in certain breeds of dogs if they are not spayed or nutered.

Any suggestions?

For the Purdue study in Rottweilers re: age of neutering and Osteo, search PubMed on "early gonadectomy osteosarcoma" You should be able to search PubMed for other good ref's on "gonadecotomy dog" and "sterilization dog" and "spay neuter dog." PubMed is a public database of journal cites. Most of them will only give you the abstract, some will give a full reference site. Search Google for the exact PubMed address, I know it's the NLS to some degree.
