Growth on lip

I visited my sisters house this weekend and she showed me a growth on her dogs lip. It is on her lip/gums it is black in color the same color as her lips and it had a cottage cheese lumpy appearance to it about the size of a small gum ball. Has anyone ever seen a lump that looks like what I am trying to explain and call tell me what you think it might be?

wow, does this mean that no-one has ever seen this before?

I think it means that no one is willing to try and diagnose a lump sight unseen over the internet. Any suspicious lumps and bumps need to be diagnosed by a VET.

I agree with that, however this is not my dog, I did advise her to take her to the vet, I just thought someone might tell me their opinion if they had seen it before.

Oh well. Thanks anyhow.
