Need help - paw pad chewed open

Brazen has 'feet' problems related to allergies as well. The vet gave me these wipes (I forget what they are called) to wipe her feet with when she comes in. They work great and keep her itchiness way down..Honestly tho, I found baby wipes are just as effective and cheaper.

Listerine will do the same, just put some in a spray bottle and spritz her feet. We use it on our crew and it helps.

Thank you both for the suggestions. We have plenty of baby wipes around right now and we also have a big bottle of Listerine!

Update: Took Birdie to the vet last night. Her pad was infected so he gave me some antibiotics. Also got Hydoxazine to give her for the allergies. She has to keep the e-collar on until her pad is healed. We are also applying neosporin once a day, per vet's orders, to speed up the healing process.

Anyone know how long healing will take? I forgot to ask the vet.

I bet you will be pleased with the difference you see in Birdie's allergies with the Hydroxazine. It has really been a huge help with our allergy sufferers! Good luck and give Birdie a scratch from me!
