Need URGENT HELP PLEASE

My friends Rottweiler Rockafella he is 1yr old, and my friend just called and told me that his dog was throwing up all last night and this morning, and this morning that he just seen him walking and fall over, he got dizzy, and he said that he was kind of twitching, he has took him to the vet alot already, and they havn't told him anything, I suggested giving the dog pedialyte for kids, in ice cubes or in a bowl, as to help hydrate him, could anybody tell me what syptoms these might be, oh and he got the dog at 6 weeks old, and the dog has all his shots, I told him that maybe getting the dog at 6 weeks was to young, when I by a rotti puppy I usually get them 8-9 weeks, please any advice.

There are too many possibilities, and these symptoms can only be diagnosed by a vet with lots of additional questioning. But one thing's for sure - he needs to get his dog to a vet immediately!

You mean to tell me the Vet has said NOTHING to this guy. That's BS. If the guy is to cheap to actually take his dog to the Vet for something like this then just tell him to shoot the dog instead of letting it die this slow death.

Yes, you need to tell him to take Rockafella to the vet immediately, and keep Griffin away from him - until you know if it is contagious or not, you don't want to even go around him yourself. It is too dangerous for your own dog.

Tell your friend to take this dog to another vet....now! There is nothing that we can do to diagnose. The dog needs medical attention....

Getting a pup at 6 weeks has no bearing on acute gastrointestinal distress a year later.

a quick question, has your friend used Bio-Spot, Advantix or any over the counter flea medications on his dog recently (like in the past few days, week)?

I'm asking because the symptoms sound similar to poisoning from these items. If he has been, tell him to grab a bottle of dawn dish soap and wash the dog immediately and then run to the vet.

Again, Im no expert or a vet, so please have your friend call another vet and get him there immediately.

Sounds very much like poisoning to me. Could be mushrooms, chemicals, flea products etc.....

Dog needs to get to a vet ASAP!

yes I know, I suggested to my friend to give the rottweiler pedialyte for children to rehydrate the dog, he said he was going to, and he also scheduled an appointment for the Vet at 3:00PM

I don't think he got to any candys, His owner isn't much of a junk food eater .
