Re: anyone awake?? help!!

I'm up...go ahead and follow their instructions...if it doesn't come up I wouldn't sweat it TOO much, just watch poop for the next day or so to see it if comes out. Take him in if he acts painful (panting, antsy, pacing) or if you see blood coming from any orifice.

Well of course he wouldn't want to drink it, would you? Open his mouth, tip his head back a bit and spoon it in. Better yet, do you have a syringe, or a turkey baster?

Re: anyone awake?? help!!

Hydrogen peroxide will do the trick . I used a turkey baster for Bruce .( he unwrapped and then ate 3lbs of hersey's miniatures He's such a neat freak . Left all the wrappers in a clump )

Be sure to do it in an easy to clean area It does seem to take more hydrogen peroxide than you think it would . After vomiting I made Bruce drink water to dilute out what was left in his stomach so he wouldn't keep vomiting .

Re: anyone awake?? help!!

We tricked him into drinking some by putting an ice cube in the peroxide (his favorite treat).. he threw up ALOT, lol but the bottle cap is recovered. We are giving him plenty of water.. turkey baster is now on the list of things to get at the store, haha. Thanks!!

Re: anyone awake?? help!!

YAY!! Success! Yep, a good thing to keep on hand for getting things into dogs that they don't WANT in them.
