chipped tooth

i have a quick question. yesterday oni was trying to open the door to his crate and he chipped his tooth on the spring loaded latch. right now the blood vessel that is inside the tooth is exposed tho it does not seem to bother him at all. after he chipped his tooth he went right back and tried to open the door again so im guessing it doesnt really hurt or bother him much. he is also still chewing his toys as if nothing was wrong. my question is if i should do anything about it considering the blood vessel is exposed and most of the tooth is gone (chipped down to the gumline)? its his baby tooth so i figure it will eventually fall out but im still a little worried.

Re: chipped tooth

If it were me, I'd make a trip to the vet - even if for nothing more than piece of mind.
