| Excessive licking My pup (1 yr today) is licking his butt excessively. I came home today and all around his nub was soaking wet. I tried to watch and it looks like he is really irritated under there. He had a bordatella shot on Saturday and I called the vet and he said that there isn't any reaction like that. Has anyone else had anything like this??? He almost can't stop and I'm wondering if he hasn't actually taken some of the hair off. THanks! |

| Re: Excessive licking Fleas. Anytime you see licking/chewing around the tail, might as well go ahead and assume fleas. Give him a good bath using lots of suds and if you don't have him on Frontline, get him started. |
