We got the CERF and cardio!

And he passed both with flying colors! WHEW! Now on to the hips and elbows! One of the reasons we went to the ARV Nationals was because they were offering these tests, and boy you do not realize how nervous you are about it until they give you the good news. But he is Cardio Normal and his eyes are normal also. So now I have to start to breathe again and get the paper work sent in.

LOL! Thanks JoJo. Blue is just not my color! We were a bit nervous because at 8 and 12 weeks our vet thought she "MIGHT" have heard something with his heart. She said with his panting and grunting she could not be sure, and it has been in the back of our minds ever since. Now, as Mick Trainer would say, No worries!
Thanks RW! Now I am off to feed him some cottage cheese! We need weight!!

Shirlely - I'm glad to hear you're home safe, and with such great news about Guerin!
IF he doesn't have any lactose 'issues' , you can also try 'some' ricotta (whole milk for the fat), or even feta cheese for the variety!

Congrats Shirley and Phil. Samantha said your boy is real nice. I am glad to hear he passed both heart and eyes. I am sorry I was unable to meet Guerin in person but I will in the near future. Good luck with him and just a quick question. Do you feed crackers with the cheese?

Great news! There is nothing better than getting that passing nod from the vet each time! It's always a breath-taking event while you are waiting for the cardiologist and eye doctors to get done with their exam!

We'll be doing the same tests at the Spokane shows on our 6 month old, I'll be the one anxiously waiting that day!

Thanks all for the congrats! We felt he was healthy but it is always nice to have it confirmed by a pro!
Kathy he is not lactose intolerant so we are feeding cottage cheese, yogurt and will add your suggestions to his list for the variety factor, Thanks.
