building muscle

How do i get my dog to build more muscle? He is in good shape but i would like to bulk him up some.

he just turned 9 months not shure how much he weighs probably 70 or more pounds

he wont be building muscle for several months he is a puppy that is built like a puppy let him be one

At 9 months old, he's not even like a teenager yet in his maturity. He just isn't old enough to have the type of muscles you're describing.

Minimum of 2 1/2 but he might be 3 or more before he bodies out.

As others have said, it's gonna take time...and it's going to get worse before it gets better. I adopted both my rotties when they were about 18 months old. And at that age, they had huge heads, huge feet, long legs and skinny rat bodies...rather like that of a 14 year old kid. About nine months to a year later their chests started to really fill out, and by the time they were three or so everything was in proportion and gorgeous. But just as with people, they definately go through a gawky adolescent stage.
