where do I buy freshfactors and cusequin?

Hi, my 3 year old rottie has arthiritis and I currently have him on metcam (sp?) and glucosomine. They work ok, but nothing that makes a HUGE difference. I have been reading all the posts here and it seems like you all really like the freshfactors and the cusequin, can those be used together and where can I buy them? I went to pet meds and some other places online and cant find them. Can someone tell me where to buy and what dosage is reccomended? Thanks a lot!!! ;) I get so much helpful info. here, I wish I knew of this site earlier. It seems like everyone shares similiar problems, and I thought my Zeus was "one of a kind" lol

I don't use it but you can buy it at http://www.extendedyears.com/health/10207.html

I have had much better success using a combination of two capsules. I open them up and sprinkle the powder on the food. They are; Healthy Joint from 21st Century and a combo capsule from Sundown of Shark Cartlidge, MSM, Glucosamine and vitamins. I get the Healthy Joint at PetsMart and Sundown vitamins are sold online or at grocery store and pharmacy's.

I'd like to know your results with the new meds, just for comparison. The reason I'm asking is that we had our 7-8 year old on the Metacam/glucoseamine combination and it made a HUGE difference in her walking. She had very serious arthritis in her elbows with a slight limp that went away completely on the Metacam.

Zeus has been on metacam for well over a month and not had a single side effect, so I think it is ok for him, but thanks for the info.

I bought Cosequin at the vet for my elderly Nottweilers.

Re: where do I buy frestfactors and cusequin?

My girl was on metacam for nearly a year, daily dosing.

Like any NSAID (metacam, rimadyl, asprin) you have to keep tabs on them, looking for signs of changes in their gasterointestinal system. People are very much the same way with Advil, many have bad stomach ulerations, many can take it without much cause. It is a very individual thing that should be discussed with one's vet first.....

I buy my Cosequin on eBay for pretty cheap compared to even ordering on-line.
