It's funny she wouldn't eat the Interceptor, as my vet told me they were "meat flavored". One note however, on Interceptor that I think I read on this forum is that it may not be effective if it is not chewed up by the dog. My vet didn't confirm this, but I figure it couldn't hurt, so since I heard this I have been crushing up the pills then emptying the package into the food dish and serving it with a meal.

I had heard something along that line, but they just said if they don't chew it, it just takes a longer time to take effect. I can see that because that is the same way with us humans when we don't chew a pill (for pills like tylenol,aspirin and such that you can chew but taste disgusting)! so maybe it is the same way with the animals???
