Tasha has been spayed...

:) Thanks to everyone for your advice! As you may recall, we adopted Tasha, an 8 1/2 yr old rottie when my uncle passed away. Our vet said we should have her spayed to lessen the chances of her contracting cancer, infection, or other illnesses.

I came to this site and asked your opinions because I was afraid to have her fixed given her age. Without fail, everyone said to do it because it would be to her benefit. Well, we did and she's doing great!!

Thanks to all of you. It's amazing to find such a helpful and supportive group of people. Tasha says thanks as well and offers everyone a big, sloppy, wet kiss!!!

Tasha does make me laugh often. These days, all I need to say is "come, Tash, cuddle-up" and she's right there at my side. And my uncle was afraid that she wouldn't adapt to new surroundings! I know she misses him (as do I), but I do feel that she knows that we love her so much and will always be there for her.

What a joy she is! I am the lucky one. I sometimes wonder what I did to deserve this beautiful girl.
