A Dear Friend and Osteosarcoma

I'm not sure I'm posting this in the right place...

A friend's 12 year old Rottie may have this dreadful disease. Silver, the Rottie, had TPLO at the ripe old age of 11. Her Mom, Andria, opted for TPLO even with Silver's age because Sil also has hip dysplasia and it was felt TPLO would give her a "good leg to stand on." It did, for over a year. I have never met Andria. She is an orthodogs list friend. Silver has been Andria's service dog for the past 11 years. Andria literally does not remember life before Silver. My Charleigh and Silver have a pact...to be the world's oldest living Rottweilers. Please, keep Silver in your prayers.

Chivas, I've asked Andria if she'd like to be put in touch with you and have invited her to join this list. I'll let you know...

I am hoping for her sake that it isn't this dreaded disease.
