Jas Having Surgery Today

Hey all just wanted you to know little Jasmine is having orthoscopic surgery today to remove some chips in her elbow. I was going to tough it out today at work and not mention it to anyone, no one here at work would understand my getting upset. After all, its a dog!!!! :( :( :( But after droping her off this morning I started to cry and wanted to tell someone!! I washed her favorite blankie last night and sent it in with her, hopefully it will comfort her to have it. I wanted to stay but the tech said I would not be able to see her any sooner. So here i wait at work. This is the first time she has been away from me and under someone else's control since she was a puppy. I am sure they (Southpaws) know what they are doing, I checked up on the surgeon and the staff to make sure!!! but I wish I could be there!!!

Good news :D :D :D Just spoke with the surgeon, Jas came through the surgery fine. They are keeping her over night in order to control post op pain.
She will have to take it easy for awhile but she should be just fine.

:D :D Thanks everyone for all your support. I am going to call the animal hosp first thing this morning to find out when Jas can come home. I have her crate all ready and clean, her favoriate toys ready, and a nice fresh bone. I told my boss that I would be taking the rest of the day off to be home with her.
I cant wait to pick her up!!! :D :D :D :D
