Sajan's Xrays are clear

Sajan was no better when I got home so I took him to the vet tonight. They xrayed his entire leg from toes to shoulder and there is no sign of any fractures. The vet agreed that it seems to be in the lower part of his leg or his foot and is probably a pulled muscle or ligament. So it's crate rest and Rimadyl for one to two weeks.

I'm glad it's not a fracture but it would be nice to have a definite answer once in a while with him and his ailments.

Thanks for everyone's concern and please keep fingers crossed it is nothing serious.

Yay Sharon and Sajan!! When I first read your post I thought, oh dear God, he's torn a cruciate. (A little paranoid I have become!) Then I realized it was a front leg...hopefully he's just twisted something and will be completely fine. These guys are just not as rough and tough as we think, are they?

A little better this morning

He was a little better this morning, at least he wasn't crying out when we went outside. He is still groggy from the sedation. We couldn't see his regular vet cause he was out this week for training and the vet we saw(his wife) knocked Sajan way out for the xrays. So far out that he was sleeping during the xrays until she gave him the reversal drug. I think she was a little afraid of him and was being overly careful.

Well I'm glad to hear that it's nothing serious. I'm keeping my fingers crossed & sending good vibes Sajan's way.
