| Puppy has a cold Hi everyone, could someone help me with this one? My puppy has had a cold for more than a week now. He has mucus on his nose and I even hear it in his breathing. Is this something that will eventually go away or I should visit the vet asap? Do puppies get colds like we do? Is there any real danger in this? Thanks

| Absolutely, GO TO THE VET. Athena had the similar symptoms, and I brushed it off as kennel cough. (Coughing, congestion). I waited it out for 5 days to take her in... By that point she had aspirated pneumonia!!! I felt awful, so it's always better safe than sorry. Carolyn |

| Thank you All Ladies, I'd like to thank you all so very much for the advice. As soon as I read your messages I took him to the vet and he indeed had a cold. She gave him antibiotics which he has started taking and hopefully all will be OK. Once again, you came through! Thank you Steven

| Thank you so much Samantha. What threw me off and made me wait was that his poo was normal. Solid, I mean. And his appetite was normal also. But that lisp in his breathing was enough to scare me. And then, your response... It won't happen again. Thanks
