NO, but I am kinda curious on what it is....sounds like the female would be given a shot to abort her puppies?

I have heard of an abortion shot and I've heard from several people that it can cause serious problems with her reproductive tract afterward.

I hear it often recommended that if the dog is going to be bred later on or she needs to be intact NOT to get an abortion shot because of the risks.

I'm not exactly sure how high those risks for complications are but hopefully someone with more knowledge about it will post.:)

I have had two people that purchased bitch puppies from us use this shot (BEFORE they contacted me about it!).

Both bitches developed pyrometra, one had to be spayed to save her life, the other one had open pyro and was able to be treated with multiple antibiotics. She was bred once after this happened and had a normal litter of 5 pups.

On her subsequent heat cycle, she again developed open pyro, they again treated her with antibiotics. She was bred again, but the latest ultrasound did not look good, the vet could not see any pups and will be redoing the ultrasound this week.

She is going to be spayed after she has this litter (and spayed even if there are no pups).

Her owners have been lucky, abortion shots are treading on dangerous ground. They are not safe to give. They can cause many severe reproductive problems on future heat cycles.

If you think your bitch has been bred, consult your vet asap and see what he says. I personally do not recommend using these shots. It would be better for the bitch to go in and be spayed right now, before the pregnancy proceeds any further or, if this is a show bitch and you are planning on breeding her again in the future, you should let her have the litter and either place them all as pets with no registration papers or put them down at birth. If she is a young bitch and you plan on showing her and wanting to breed her in the future, make sure that if you have her carry this litter, that she gets the utmost in nutrition, she will be having to carry youngsters and her nourishment that she needs to grow will be going to them. She needs the best of everything if you go ahead with this.

Sorry to be so heartless, but why did this girl get put in a position that she may have gotten pregnant in the first place? Did you not know she was in season? Was she not contained in a crate or kennel when you were not around? How old is she?
