| Carina43 and all who posted. I do understand the gravity of the situation. Last night when we returned from the vet Madison and Mia met through the baby gate for the first time since the fight. After a few greeting licks Mia went after Madison again. The situation is grave.
Thankfully our homes architecture allows us to isolate the dogs from each other and still socialize with us. It’s unfortunate that these circumstances have occurred and our beloved girls will live their lives separately, but as I said re-homing one of them is not an option.
Since this was posted in Vets Corner I’d like to add that apart from puncture wounds on her shoulder, leg and a lot of bruising Madison should recover completely. Her vet shaved her shoulder, cleaned the wounds and she was prescribed Clavamox for the next 10 days.
Thank you to all who posted.
