I love my vet

I just wanted to say that. I just made another of what seems like my weekly hysterical phone calls to the vet (poops not right, seems a little off, she's got a funny feeling in her toe!), and she's always so understanding, so quick to help and not think I'm a freak.

I, too, love my vet. I was referenced to him by my previous vet who went into ER work. I was very apprehensive about a new vet because Chivas had had more then her share of boo-boos and was nervous when she went to the vet.
I was able to stay with her during ALL procedures which made her much more relaxed. He never muzzled her nor made her sit in a kennel for hours before a procedure, he would call me 20 mins before her procedure was to be done, (dental, xrays, etc) and I would bring her there, they would do the procedure and I was able to sit in the recovery room with her while she woke up.
When she was battling osteo and I was hysterical with fear and grief, he even called me several times while in WA state ( i am in VA) as he was visiting his terminally ill mother. At the time I had no idea where he was or what was going on in his life.
When Chivas passed, he wrote me a wonderful card and called me several times. He also donated $200 to RottweilerHealth in Chivas's name. He is one in a million.

I was just going to make a post about the same thing!

I *adore* my vet...I have a wonderful Holistic Vet that is so knowledgeable in nutrition and so quick to help!!! The plus is that her daughter also works in the clinic and does pet sitting for the clients!!! So now, I have an awesome pet sitter that has a *direct* line to my vet!

If any one in Wisconsin wants more info on her...PM me and I will give you the information. I have been to a lot of vets and she is the best one I have ever found...she actually *recommends* the raw diet and carrys foods in her clinic like Califorina Natural, Innova, Natures Menu, Nature's Variety....its incredible! No crap foods here! :D
