| I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I was very interested when I saw this thread. I have a 9 year old pug bitch, who suffered with chronic pancreatitis for quite awhile. We cut all fat, yet she still was suffering. Then one morning as I fixed her food, I realized the inside of the bag was VERY oily, it was a lamb and rice kibble, we had been told by our vet L&R would be a good food for her. Well we changed brands and no more attacks. She takes prednisone and hydroxazine for allergies, and it has never caused a problem for her. Check out the food you are feeding, see how the bag looks. Just a thought this can be a very frustrating thing to deal with. It took alot of detective work and looking at EVERYTHING to catch the culprit in Whit's case. Good luck.
Again I am sorry for your loss.
