Any changes after spaying

I was just curious...Do females have any changes after having a spaying? I thought males usually seem to get less territorial, and a little calmer. Do females have the same changes in their behavior?

I dropped her off today....:( poor girl, I felt SOOOOOO bad leaving her there. She is due to go in around 1100 hours EST. She is getting SPAYED, and a GASTROPEXY.

Any have any thoughts on what the night will bring later when I get her back home?

I've never noticed any changes, except of course they don't go into heat! :)

Most dogs will feel a bit dopey the first night & then will act as if nothing was done to them. Keep her quiet, and don't let her lick or mess with the site...she'll be fine. Is a gastroplexy where they tack the stomach? I've never had that done.

Daisy didn't really change either. She hasn't really gained too much weight. She's not particularly calmer. She never was territorial so that will be hard to judge. Same old Daisy after a couple of days. :D

Yep....that's what it is. Figured since they were in there might as well get it done. My vet has done MANY of these.

She is home now and doing fine. The vet said everything went great!

She is laying downstairs with my wife and I....just relaxing!

She's so cute!!! I'll have pics later.
