| Here in Michigan it's generally recommended May-Dec, with a test in May. I guess I never thought "out of the box" enough to ask why we don't just give it year 'round!
And ditto everyone who say whoever told you that about HW isn't very knowlegable. It's very common in dogs, virtually impossible for them to get if you keep them on preventative - cheap insurance! I give the monthly pills on the first of every month, it's easy to remember that way.
