| Can Canidea cause diarrhea? My 11 month female pup got sick last week - stopped eating, started throwing up, liquid diarrhea, and peed on the kitchen floor (all in one day). I took her to a vet and she got some antibiotic, also was told to take Imodium and start her on rice mixed kibble diet the next day. Since this happened a day after my mom's visit, I assumed my mom overindulged her with kitchen scraps and other human treats (pieces of apple, grape fruit, carrots, etc...) After 2-3 days, her behavior seemed to improve, she would eat her rice/kibble mix (more rice than kibble) stopped throwing up and seemed active again. When her stool became more solid, I tried to put her back on her usual kibble (Canidae). Too my suprise, she would sniff the bowl and walk away. When I put some rice mixed with it, she would eat it and get diarrhea again soon after eating. This morning I tried giving her her kibble again, and she woldnt touch it. So I bought her some canned food - puppy chicken formula. I couldnt believe how fast she ate the entire can! (and started begging for more) I'm gonna watch her to see if the diarrhea returns, but just in case, I took a liquid stool sample to the vet this morning. Does anyone else has any idea, what is wrong with her? She seems to have her appetite back, she doesnt throw up, but still has really bad diarrhea as soon as she eats Canidea... She has lost a lot of weight already. Down to 60 from 70 lbs...
