Update on Domingo's congestive heart failure

I am happy to report that Mingo is still hanging in there and we are still treating his CHF. He is on 5 medications (administered at all different times of the day) but he is hanging in there. He's lost 15 lbs since July but you can hardly tell with that HUGE head of his. The bacterial infections have been treated (eurlichea and bartonella) but the hole in his valve that was caused by the bartonella bacteria remains. The doc said domingo is his first patient to ever "survive" bartonella. What a fighter!

We don't know how much longer we have with our boy, but we cherish every day.
