| Why use the choke/prong collar at all? I have found that if trained properly, and correction is given by the "master", the dog will have more respect for you as the leader. No need for silly chokes and pronges. Time and consistency are the key. |

| Workin'Dogz, Thanks for the information on the proper use of the pinch collar. I will now use it correctly on my shepherd. For the past two months, she has had to deal with just the one ring now we will be using two. |
