| start training I know this question has been asked before but I can't see any answer. Blacky is 3 months bitch and of course is munching anything she can lay her teeth on, especially my trousers when I'm walking. When does one formally start training the dog to sit etc? If the answer is somewhere on the site, please indicate. Thanks Patrick |

| You can start now. I began training my boys when I got them at 10 weeks. Did you need suggestions on how to train as well?

| you may start training your dog now, at home, but enroll asap in a training kindergarten course...... Get the book "idiots guide to rottweilers" there are a lot of training tips in that book , as well as references to diet, exercise and the breed itself. Go potty was the FIRST thing I taught.......Sit the next.....they are VERY easy to do. BUT you should at least get basic obedience training with a trainer for your dog....you do not have to wait however to teach a few things ! |
