| differences in training MY husband and I try very hard to be consistent with training. However, some things work better for me and some things work better for him. I come to it thinking the most effective result with the least amount of severity. We use an e-collar (the prong collar lost its umph) and he would rather use that all time whereas I can often snap my fingers to redirect, or get him to refocus ( the dog not the husband). Is this confusing Kayne or is it ok to do this? Our vet said Kayne is doing well and listens so it is obvious we are working with him. Thank you in advance for any comments and/or advice. |
