| Light Running My dog is just about 11 months and weighs mid 70s. I have read don't go on runs till around 18 months, but what about a light run or jog. I was thinking like a 10 minute mile pace, and only going 1 mile or 2 max. Is that reasonable or still too early? Also, if I would do that would there be any physical signs that I could catch on to that it's uncomfortable for him? Thanks. |

| Re: Light Running You could try 1/4 mile and maybe work up to a mile, but you really should wait until he is a little older. Rottweilers are so stoic it is almost impossible to tell if they are uncomfortable. I would only jog on dirt, not asphalt or cement.
