| Wonder about vinager When Gypsy and Cash play they run around our basement, its 1500 sq ft and nothing in the way (such as furniture) for them to jump on, however we have an old couch we picked up from a yard sale for free just to use down there incase the kids wanted to sit and play video games, well since Timmy is gone the girls dont play video games down there anymore, they do play now and then when the dogs are locked up with barbies. My question is the couch well when they both get hyper they like to tear it up mind you it wasnt in tip top shape when I got it, I check on the every 10 minutes or so while they are there but I read vinegar will keep dogs off furniture and out of the trash, has anyone tried it? I made a spray bottle of vinegar and water and sprayed the couch to see if they would stay off it or at least stop chewing it, they dont ever mess with the twin bed, they lay on that and chew their bones.. I was curious on home remidies before I bought store brands that may or may not work Thanks

| Re: Wonder about vinager We sprayed a vinegar mixture on Nisha's bed so she wouldn't eat it. It works, but it smells up the whole house ![]()

| Re: Wonder about vinager We tried the vinegar on our carpets whenever our new pup Storm would have an accident. I was told it would neutralize the smell and he would not go there again. It worked but now I have spent weeks trying to get the smell of vinegar out of my carpet with baking soda. Wonder what takes out the smell of baking soda? |
