How often can i train??

Wondering how much is too much.. thought that i would bring my puppy to socialization classes twice a week. the problem might be that it would be with two different trainers??? do you think that this would be a problem/

I personally only stick with 1 trainer, with Gypsy I took her to puppy class once a week, then I took her everywhere with me, she has been around all kinds of animals and kids, as far as basic obedience that was also 1x per week for an hour, then I do obedience at home 3-4 times a day for 5-10 min teaching new things and reinforcing things she already knows

I agree...stick with one trainer. Having two different trainers, they may teach with different methods....and you and your pup may get mixed up.

A 1 hour puppy class if good once a week. If you get to know some of the pups in your class you could meet up with them some other time in the week so that your pups could play also.

A few minutes training a couple of times per day is good also.
You want to keep things positive and make learning fun. Pups have short attention spans.

Consistency is what all puppies need to learn properly.

Stick to one trainer and train every day in little training sessions for 5 minutes at a time.

Socialization is great, but going to different classes and potentially having to teach the pup different things at the same time is too confusing for the both of you really.
