| The carting rules are at: www.amrottclub.org/cartingregs Be aware that they have not been updated. There is a new carting chair and a single pass is now required instead of two passes. Other than that, they are pretty much the same. |

| The fit of the harness is also important. But, most harness companies help you with this. I found a book on teaching draft work from my harness company. But, it seems alot of folks here have had experience teaching carting . |

| It may not be that easy to find the appropriate harness for weight pulling. Most pet stores only sell the kind of harness you use for walking. If you can't find one in your area, you can try www.nordkyn.com. |

| A weight pulling harness and a carting harness are two different things. The weight pulling harness is not constructed to be used with shafts.
