Unhappy Need trainer in Southern Md, NoVa, or DC

We've just pulled a 3yr old male (un-neutered), non-mannered Rottweiler from the local shelter. He was at the shelter for 3 weeks (owner didn't want him anymore, he had only been an outside dog, w/o any interactions), the shelter kept holding onto him as they loved his personality. Short story no one would adopt him because of his lack of manners, he was due to be PTS last Friday, but they started making phone calls and now he's our responsibility.

Anyway, he is currently being fostered at a place close to the country and whenever he hears a gunshot he goes ballistic (hunting season is starting up). He's going to have to leave this place soon and will probably wind up at my place.

So.... I am in dire need of some place for training, there's not alot of options down here!

Thanks,
Kathy

Kathy, I am PMing you a link to Applejack K-9 Academy in Charlotte Hall. It is located on Route 6 between Rte 5 and La Plata. It should be fairly close to you and much closer than the guy I know of in Brandywine. I have no personal experience with them and they seem to be GSD oriented but they may be able to help.
