Training in RI

Okay so I have a new guy in the house and he has several issues. I am already working on food aggression with him and feel he has taken advantage of the sick thing too long( a week) It's time to begin some basic stuff with him. The person I used to go through is not currently training and I don't want to wait with Junior SO any suggestions would be helpful.

Re: Training in RI

So are you asking for recommended training facilities? Where in RI are you?

Seekonk would be close to you, right Carla? Gretchen, didn't you say there was a good place in Seekonk?

Re: Training in RI

Sorry I didn't check back earlier. I am in Warwick Ri which is 15-20 minutes from Providence. Yes, I am looking to train Junior.

Re: Training in RI

Seekonk is just east of East Providence, RI, the first town in MA you get off 195 E, probably at least 1/2 hour drive from Warwick. Are we allowed to mention training facilites or trainers by name? I have heard of a good place in Seekonk or Swansea, can't remember which town but I do remember the name. Someone recommended it to me once.

Re: Training in RI

Yup, I checked, the place I was recommended to is in Seekonk. I ended up using two trainers in Westport, MA, which is closer to us than Seekonk.
Warwick to Seekonk could be a hike, particularly with some traffic slow downs through Providence and on 195 in East Providence.

Re: Training in RI

I think the one in Warwick is K9 Connection. I know of one member here who uses them. Very limited places in RI and a few I called do not accept rotties who are not pups.
