Training a 2 year old rottweiler.

I have a 2 year old Rotty. I sent him to OB school when he was 6 months. I have been training him off and on, but not steady. He is very hard headed and will not listen. I need help with this. Will he reject training at his age?

It really depends on you. Start from square one if you have to. Get some yummy treats and do some training every day. Even if it is only for a few minutes. It is never too late for obedience.

good luck

Micahel, Although I know it was an accident, that post deserves to show up twice.

Chucky, "Sending" the dog to obedience school indicates that you did not do the training yourself. Well, it is never too late! I often have dogs much older than that starting in my obedience classes. Look at it this way, you can't make him any younger, and he is going to live some time yet. How much nicer if he is properly trained :) When someone else trains your dog, the dog learns to obey that person, it does not particularly transfer to another person especially with the Rottweiler. So, sign both of you up for a class, attend faithfully, and train a bit every day. Training, just like any education, is a process, a step forward on the road. You will find it most rewarding and it will provide a bonding with your dog that you will not have otherwise. Not only that - you get the reward of having a fine dog to live with!
