Cool New CGC

While at the Bark in the Park event today, Blitz earned her CGC. I am still in shock!!!! I knew there would be no problem with anyone checking her ears/paws, wasn't sure how the loose leash walking would go but figured it couldn't be TOO bad, wasn't worried about leaving her with the evaluator (I understand she said "ho HUM and almost went to sleep." ) BUT...I felt there was a possibility she would growl or hackle at the neutral dog. Before you all say WELL OF COURSE SHE PASSED...in the past she has been NAUGHTY around other dogs on many occasions. It's something I've worked HARD on...but hadn't realized the work had been THIS effective!! SO...did I say I'm still in shock?? But...I'm VERY proud of her too!!!

And...Blitz thinks Duncan is pretty cute! Cash...sorry buddy but you may have some competition!

Yay Blitz! It is amazing how a little work pays off isn't it? Get too many more initials behind her name and you will run out of space on your signature line!

Beth has been telling tall tales about Blitz. She was one of the most relaxed rottweilers I have seen for her age. Well mannered and behaved.... well marking the cooler was not really well behaved. Fortunately it was, a) not my cooler and b) after she passed the CGC.
Duncan thought Blitz was pretty good looking too. At one point I thought I saw her slip her phone number under his collar He still knows how to flirt.

She fooled you, she fooled you!!! Regular beatings, being baked in the sun and mauled by small children calm a dog right down dontcha know?!

Actually...she was, and lately usually IS, very VERY good. I couldn't have been happier with her today, either at the CGC testing or the rest of the event.

WAHOO!!!!! Way to go Blitzy (and Beth too...glad you mustered up the guts to give it a try...we KNEW she could do it!!) !

Sounds like she was a perfect angel (almost anyway ). Gramma Elsa marked a few inappropriate items in her youth too (and you know how much like her Gram she is ).
