| I just have to tell - Boris' first group class and only a few outside of this forum would understand. tonight was Boris' first group class in obedience with Hilda's group. He did very very well. as we were leaving one of the women I know from Hilda's class was bringing her 2 corgies in the yard. We were waiting a little ways from the gate. She couldn't believe it was Boris. (she saw him last spring) she came quite close, and I put Boris in a down. and he stayed. then she said "look at him, every inch is being friendly." and proceeded to let her little female (who just got her 1st rally leg) come sniff. Boris jumped up, jumped down in a very submissive play position. I told her you can't always trust a wagging nub. but she was calm and easy, and said "he is just a big puppy." I watched his behavior tonight and decided he is kind of 'goose in a new world' maturity wise, and maybe his behavior is more defensive than aggressive having been a stray for so long. Anyway, if he keeps on doing this well, agility class is not far in our future! |

| well, agility after lots and lots of obedience. It's just that I can actually see a glimmer of hope that he might be under control off lead someday! he is just so athletic, and did so well on the agility equipment at that other trainers....thanks to all the inspiration and help from everyone here! |

| I'm just seeing this having been away last week. I am, as always, impressed with the work you've done with this good boy. Group obedience, here comes Boris.
