Trainer/behaviorist needed

Trainers / Behaviorists .
Where can I find a good trainer/behaviorist in or around this area. Brooklyn Park . MD. 21225

Someone wrote me for advice with her rottie bc she saw I do rescue. During my conversations with her based on what she is describing I would say her dog has territorial issues and is very Alpha male, he is adolescent rottie, ( 17 months ) & he has started to exhibit aggression towards strangers on her property . There's more but the bottom line is, He basically rules the roost . I sent her some articles on Alpha dog behavior and she wrote back and said it described her dog exactly. She really needs a trainer / behaviorist to assist and guide her. I told her I would try and help her find someone . I fear that if this family does not get their Rottie under control it will end up on the 6 O'clock news someday :

Anyone know a trainer/behaviorist in that area ?or can recommend a site where I can find such a trainer....

Krissie,
Look for a trainer as the dog needs leadership most of all. "Behaviorists" don't train dogs, they mainly try to explain them and this boy needs working and leadership. I'm sure you'll get some referrals from some of our "locals".

I do hope someone can recommend someone for her. Your right he does need leadership and work and allot of it!!
