How to teach puppy to stop licking us

Our 6 month old puppy licks us alot and our company. We don't want her to do this expecially when we have children. What can we do to stop her from doing this?

Why do want your baby to stop licking you. The puppy is kissing you, she loves you and she will not hurt your kids by kissing them. They are in more danger from our germs than we are from theirs. They should be a part of the family for best results in training and stability for your family.

I understand perfectly fine about the licking
part..and yes she's showing you love and affection..how cute!I love it when Chyna and Mocha love me..but after a while it those get annoying..and some ppl don't like it..what is the right correction for this?..
I've too heard that a dog's mouth is cleaner than humans..whick I'm not too sure of that..
not after they lick themselves..and drink out of the toilet..that really gets me wondering if it's the truth..or a myth..
Especially when they lick your face..surprisingly! ;)

We have the same situation with our Pandora. We don't mind the licking but sometimes we have company that does. Unfortuantely Pandora is exceptional at reading people and when she senses that one of our guests doesn't want kisses, kissing that person becomes the only thing in her mind Since than we have taught her that licking means kisses. Once she knew what kisses meant I could tell her to "go give mommy kisses." Once she understood this we worked on "no more kisses" or "all done kisses." I feel that by pairing kisses with other commands she already knew (give and no more and all done) this can be pretty easy. This could work great if you pup already knows "no more" or "all done." Good luck
