Well, one of us is misunderstanding, don't know which. She doesn't seem to be responsible for the condition he came to her in or the manner in which he was cared for before she brought him home. She posted on July 7th that he had to stay outside until Sat (that would be July 9th) when she would be taking him to the vet. Hardly animal cruelty and probably a wise decision since she had no idea what the dog was like and she has children in the house. He went for her son even before Saturday came.

My concern is with bringing an unknown dog home without having it evaluated first, and especially with children in the home. It was dumb luck that the son wasn't injured, and a dog like this certainly needs an evaluation before deciding if it should even go to yet another home.
You're absolutely correct moondog. This lady did not post everything initially in detail, but she did not create these problems with the dog, she was trying to help. The only thing this person is guilty of is not being smart about taking in a strange dog while she has children in the house.

Kind of irks me that everyone is jumping on the bandwagon to trash this lady. I think she just got in over her head while trying to help a dog who had been neglected for years. The only way I figured it out was to go back and read some of her previous threads.
