| When to start classes I have been looking for a training class for Arwen, there aren't many around so I will probabley have to travel about 2 hours away. I have been looking at one place online (Still need to drive up there and see for myself before I sign up for anything) that has classes offered on Thursday nights at 7pm and Saturday mornings at 9am. In order to go to the Thurday night class I would have to wake up at 5pm (I work nights) which is only 4 hours after "normal" bed time. I would make it home just in time to zoom off to work, this class starts just after the 12 week old mark (4 days after). There next Saturday class isn't untill the 16 week mark. I would have to leave work a smidge early to get there in time, but it is do able. I will do whatever it takes to raise her right, so I ask you experienced (professional or just hands on) what your opinions are on this. Is getting her to class RIGHT after the 12 week mark vitally important, or will she do just as well if we don't start untill 16 weeks? If we start at 16 weeks, there is 4 weeks between puppy K and Level 1. If we start at 12 weeks, then there is only 1 1/2 weeks betwen puppy K and Level 1. I haven't got it set in stone if this is where I will be taking her, but it is looking like a very good place. Thank you all for being here and helping, you'll never know how much your appreciated. |

| I personally start at 16 weeks. I do lots of work at home and with this one will probably do some privately before that, but no group class until 16 weeks. I'm sure my opinion differs from others here, but that's my input.

| I could not wait to go to class, just beacuse they are soooo much fun. I don't know if there is any advantage/disadvantage to going either way. I think as long as you don't wait too long, it is all good!! Have fun, and don't forget the pics!!
