Re: Training for Titles / Training and no Titles

Question! Are Canadian obedience trail exercises different than AKC. When I first competed for a BH title, I failed. The dog had been trained for the AKC ring. I now enjoy training under different rules. I would love to watch a UK obedience trail, I here they're very different.

Obedience is VERY similiar. The differences are slight. It may be the order, leash or not, etc. I believe in the CD - Canada the stand for exam is on leash, US it is off (please correct me if I'm wrong). Your best bet would be to get rule books from both countries and compare before you enter.
