Re: advice needed on my rottie who like to play her own Poo

There are lots of ideas on this, but none that are particularly successful. The only truly successful one I know is to call the dog the second she has finished going, give her a treat for her coming right to you, and then hurry out and clean up. Doesn't stop her from wanting to do it, but it keeps her from the chance.

Re: advice needed on my rottie who like to play her own Poo

Accent flavor enhancer or Adolf's meat tenderizer is supposed to contain something that makes (hey...DIS-enhances!) the flavor of the poo change to something less palatable. Just sprinkle on dogs food before serving.

Accent helped with the cocker, but there is a trick. When you're done and you stop the accent? He's likely to nibble again. Surprise him one a week for a while after before you stop completely. Helps them learn it's not a safe bet.

We still go thru a short time when poo freezes. There is something particularly delectable about Poop-cycles! No method is fool proof. Notice I said "helped" not worked.

Sometimes a poo eater is just a poo eater.
