One more step forward

Took Sarge on a walk today cuz I noticed a lot of semis out by the corn feed factory. Normally on drives Sarge freaks out when a semi passes us or is behind us. So I decided to take him by them and he jumped a bit at first but I called his name and offered treat and talked to him. He then walked by 20 semis and no barkin no growling and one even honked the horn and one pulled forward. I was so proud. But then we kept walkin and suddenly stick heaven. Normally he grabs a huge stick and keeps on walking, well I decided to push him and I said LEAVE IT and he did then later on he grabbed another and I said DROP IT and he did I praised and treated each time. My heart was so happy and I was so proud of him. Sticks are his favorite and he left them. but not without giving me the aww mom look. Then we turned around and walked by the semis again and he sniffed one and then kept on walkin like oh its a big car.
Now if I can only catch the cattle place guys to get him free bones. LOL

Heh heh! Mocha, on our way home after rescuing her, let out a BIG BARK when we met an oncoming semi on the hwy!!! Talk about scaring the poop outta a person!!!! Luckily my Hubby drives big truck and we were able to bring her around them right away and get her used to them! Thankfully she refrains from BIG BARKS in the car anymore!
